Okayama Collection
Known as the birthplace of Japanese denim, Okayama is highly regarded for its exceptional production of high-quality, signature Selvedge denim. The red and white yarn at the edge is fully utilized, earning it the nickname 'akamimi アカミミ', which means 'red ear' in Japanese.
The utilization of Akamimi on denim fully maximizes the potential of denim cloth, while also increasing production costs due to the smaller fabric width of Okayama Selvedge denim compared to regular fabric. This results in a higher cost for each individual piece, making it a more luxurious option.
